May Note from Mrs. Turner,
Happy Friday! Just like that we are in the month of May. The end of the year is quickly approaching. We have several things planned for students in the next few weeks.
We are sharing our Leader In Me survey out to parents, staff and students. We are looking for feedback from this survey to help us plan for the upcoming school year. If you could please take a few minutes and complete this survey for us, we would greatly appreciate it. Family Survey
Our 7th grade families please see a communication sent to your email this morning regarding the upcoming Reproductive Health Lessons. There is a process to have your child opt out and for you to preview the materials prior to the lessons.
***As a reminder in order to create a safe environment for our students and staff, you will be asked to show your ID when picking up your child. We will also ask you to inform us when you are checking in for a meeting with whom you're meeting, just know our office staff will confirm that meeting before providing access to the building. As you may be aware we now have Holly Area Youth Assistance and Holly Coalition offices in our building and sometimes the meetings are with them and will not require access to our building, but just their offices. Thank you so much for your cooperation and patience in helping to create a safe environment for all. ***
The Dr. Legant Fine Arts Scholarship is for students in early childhood through 8th grade (exiting 8th grade) to attend a summer camp experience that develops and emphasizes fine art skills. Dr. Laura Legant was a dedicated Holly Area Schools teacher and involved community member who spent her career developing youth talent in community theater, the Dickens festivals, historical acting tours, painting, arts and crafts, and more.
Please complete the application below to apply.
Deadline for submission is Monday, May 13th. Scholarship winner(s) will be announced on May 17th.
