Campus Transfers for the 2025-2026 School Year
Campus transfer applications will be accepted April 7 - May 30. Transfers must be completed each year.
A parent may request a transfer to a district campus outside of their designated attendance zone. At this time, we are accepting transfer requests based on the following reasons:
- If you are in the process of building/purchasing a home that you do not yet reside in Magnolia ISD (must move within 90 days);
- You reside within the Magnolia ISD attendance zones but are requesting to attend a different campus than where you are zoned to attend;
- If you are an employee and your student is currently on a transfer.
*The window for transfer requests based on zoning closed on November 1.
You can find detailed instructions and additional information on our website. To ensure your transfer is processed without delay, please remember to upload the waiver and complete the Student Transfer Agreement. Failure to do so may result in delays.

Arrival & Dismissal Reminders
- Arrival: If you are walking your child into the building in the morning, you must park in the large lot on Buddy Riley. The front lot is always reserved for bus unloading only.
- Car rider dismissal: Never opt for cutting the car rider line. We are experiencing an uptick in this concerning behavior. Cars who cut will be caught every time and must then rejoin the end of the car rider line. We need everyone to pull bumper to bumper and not leave gaps, except for roadways.
- Car rider dismissal: You must have your tag displayed on your mirror when you pick-up. A photo of the tag or telling us the number on the tag will not be permitted. If you do not have the tag, park and walk in to obtain one, and then rejoin the line. Please keep your tag displayed all the way through car rider pick-up.
Thank you for helping to keep our kids safe and following our arrival and dismissal protocols.
Transportation changes & early check-out
Transportation changes must be completed prior to 3 pm. If you are going to change your child's transportation for dismissal, you must notify the front office. It is helpful if you also notify the teacher.
Early check-out ends at 3pm. If you are picking up your child early for any reason, this must be done by 3pm.
