I am thrilled to share that our recent accreditation visit was a tremendous success! In every meeting with parents, students, and staff, the words that kept coming up were family, genuine, and love. Our visitors were so deeply impressed by the warmth, connection, and true sense of community that permeates Sacred Heart. It was evident to everyone that Sacred Heart is not just a school but a family that genuinely cares for one another. We are so excited to welcome our new PE Teacher and Athletic Director, Coach Mark Johnson. Coach Johnson comes to us with over 15 years of experience teaching various subjects. He is so excited to be at Sacred Heart and to get to know our kids. Welcome, Coach Johnson!

Trimester 1 will be coming to a close on Friday, November 8th. Please be sure students have completed all missing or incomplete work prior to the end of the trimester.

• Report Cards will be sent home on Friday, November 15th. Kindergarten-2nd Grade will receive a hard copy of their report card. 3rd-8th Grade Report Cards will be sent via email.
• Save the Date- Trimester 1 Principal's List & Honor Roll Awards- Friday, November 22nd at Morning Assembly

Morning Drop Off

• Student drop off begins at 7:30 AM. Students cannot be left unaccompanied on campus prior to 7:30 AM. There is no supervision outside prior to 7:30 AM.
• Students cannot exit cars before 7:30 AM.
• Please pull all the way forward.
• Please remain in your vehicle. If you need to exit your vehicle for any reason, please park in the Church parking lot and walk over to the school.

Afternoon Pick Up

• All parents and guardians must be checking in on PikMyKid.
• Be sure to announce yourself upon your arrival. Double check your PikMyKid Parent App to ensure you are logged in and auto-announcing. This will help speed up the line.
• ONLY the parent can make changes to a student's pick up person. Please make these changes in the parent app prior to 2:00 PM.
• If you are using the Car Line, please drive all the way to the back of the line. The cars are checked in in the order they arrive in line. If a car comes into the line out of order, it will disrupt the dismissal process.
• If you need to get out of the car for any reason, including helping your child buckle or business in the school, please park in the church parking lot and walk over.

We will be hosting our annual canned food to benefit His Heart Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. This year we are asking classes to bring in assigned items. Please see below for more information.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be hosting their annual Fall Festival November 13th-17th. Wristbands purchased for the previously scheduled dates will still be honored. The last day to purchase wristbands will be Tuesday, November 12th at 12:00 PM.

There will be no Morning Assembly on Friday, November 15th due to the Festival.

Due to Hurricane Milton and the newly rescheduled Fall Festival dates, the 2024 Saints Color Run WILL NOT take place on November 15th as previously advertised on the school calendar. We are looking forward to hosting our Booster-thon and Color Run in the Spring of 2025. Stay tuned for more information!

Varsity Basketball Season is coming soon! Boys and girls in 7th and 8th Grade are eligible to try out.

• Boys' Tryouts- Monday, Dec. 2nd & Tuesday, Dec. 3rd- 3:15-4:15 PM
• Girls' Tryouts- Wednesday, Dec. 4th & Thursday, Dec. 5th- 3:15-4:15 PM
• Tryouts and practices will take place in the month of December. Games will be held in January and early February.
• All registration will be completed online. Please register here. Registration must be completed by Friday, November 22nd.
• If you are interested in volunteer coaching, please contact Coach Johnson (mjohnson@shsaints.org).

Students must have an up to date sports physical on file in the office to be eligible to play. Students and families are responsible for reading and abiding by the Athletic Program requirements as outlined in the SHCS Family Handbook.

Parents/Guardians of students in Grades 3-8 will receive a daily automatic gradebook notification email any time a student receives a grade of 0, Missing, Incomplete or Absent. Grade reports for all students will be automatically generated and sent on Sundays. These emails will automatically come from Mrs. Coy's email. Be sure to reach out to the teacher of the grade/class in question for specific questions. As a reminder, you may not see too many items on the grade reports this Sunday since we are just getting back into our routines at school.
