December 2024 Students of the Month
7th Grade Boy: David Marcos -
I admire his maturity and level headedness even when confronted with less than desirable circumstances in group pairings.
He participates in class and is very knowledgeable when he answers questions.
7th Grade Girl: Victoria Villagomez -
Victoria works consistently hard in class, applying herself to excellence. She sets high standards for herself, works hard to achieve her goals, and sets an example for others. She asks clarifying questions and adds insightful comments in discussion. She gets along with her peers and is always respectful. She also has a playful, funny side once she feels comfortable (and her work is completed!)
8th Grade Boy: Caleb Pena -
Caleb is a very quiet young man, but is extremely polite and kind to his fellow classmates.
Caleb works very hard, he comes in every day prepared to work. He starts on his bellringer. He works hard at all his assignments, he gets good grades and he is always prepared and ready to go.
Student is respectful, comes to class prepared, and actively participates in class
8th Grade Girl: Ruth Portillo -
Ruth comes to class with a positive attitude and does not back down from a challenge. She puts great effort into her artwork and focuses on detail.
Ruth is an amazing kid. Student Council President, extremely bright, and just such a happy soul. The thing I really appreciate about Ruth, is if I give her a hard time about something, she is always quick to strike back with a humorous rebuttal.
