Fraser High School Students of the Week Winners
At Fraser High School, excellence extends beyond academics, and each week, exceptional students are recognized for embodying core values that define character and community. Nominated by their dedicated teachers, the Students of the Week stand out in areas such as Respect, Integrity, Self-discipline, or Engagement. These remarkable individuals not only excel in their studies but also demonstrate a profound commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Their actions inspire their peers, creating a ripple effect of positivity and setting a shining example for the entire Fraser High School community. This week's students of the week are:
Angelina Apel
"Angelina is currently taking an independent study and shows excellent self-discipline and engagement with her work. I do not have to worry about her using her time wisely, no being on her phone, or talking to her friends in class. She is prepared to work as soon as the bell rings and uses the entire 90 minutes. If I need her to run an errand or complete a task, so is most helpful and compliant. She is a great model for other students in the class."
-Mrs. Bolen
Kenneth Blackwell
"I am pleased to nominate Mr. Blackwell for his displays of Self-Discipline. Mr. Blackwell has shown characteristics of hard work, advocacy, and self-management. Kenny has committed himself to his academic goals, and his hard work has not gone unnoticed. Keep up the great work, Kenny!"
-Mr. Ragona
Casimer Ponus
"Cas is one of the most respectful students I've ever had! He always remembers to communicate a friendly hello and to have a nice day. Cas makes a wonderful ambassador as an FHS athlete. He's got a great attitude in class and willing to participate no matter what we're learning."

FHS Athletic Events
FHS Athletic Events
Dear Fraser Families,
With an effort to make this an enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators, we are implementing new guidelines for the remaining home varsity football games.
- FHS Students must scan into the football games with their student ID and must meet attendance requirements (3 or less tardies in a week) to enter the game at no charge. If a student scans red they must pay to enter.
- FPS Elementary and Middle School students must be chaperoned by a parent or guardian to enter the stadium.
- Middle School students should have their student ID with them at the ticket booth.
- Students may not bring in outside food or drinks into the stadium.
- Students may not bring backpacks into the stadium.
- No outside balls or noise makers that are not pre-approved by administration
- Students are expected to sit in the bleachers and not walk around the Stadium or gather in common areas
- Students are not to sit or walk to Visiting Bleachers
- No standing on the fence line of bleachers to avoid obstructing view and exits
- In the event that a student is asked to leave the football game, the parent or the guardian will be asked to take that student home.
- Once students leave the stadium gates, they will not be permitted to re-enter.
As always, the safety of our staff, students and families remains our top priority. These additional measures will support our students in making good choices and create a safe environment for all to enjoy the event.
We encourage our families to take advantage of these athletic events. We can come together with our school community and reconnect with family and friends. Fraser is a special place and our athletic events allow our community to celebrate the rich history and tradition of our schools. These updated safety and support guidelines will be used for all Fraser High School athletic events moving forward.
With Fraser Pride,
Ryan D. Sines, Ed.S.

France & Spain Trip
Meeting for France and Spain Trip
Dear families,
We’re going to France & Spain for Spring Break in 2026, and any current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who will be enrolled in level 2 or higher of French or Spanish NEXT YEAR (2025-2026) are invited!!!
We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. We will be having an info session on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 P.M. in the LGI Room. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity by clicking this link: https://bit.ly/3XeZ51o
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.
In this info session, we’ll talk about:
How this opportunity will benefit your student
What we’ll see and do on our trip
Everything that’s included in this experience
How your child can earn academic credit
How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period
There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Thank you!

Transportation
Student Drop Off
As we look forward to another school year, please take a moment to review the process that we have in place for traffic flow in our parking lots, so that everyone can enter and exit as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- If you live in our bussing area, please have your child take the bus.
- If you need to drop your student off, please try to do so before 7:10. There is very little waiting at that time.
- Please use the Klein road parking lot for drop off. This parking lot is usually much less congested.
- If you use the Garfield parking lot, please pull to the curb to drop your child off, and then proceed down past the main entrance before turning left to get in line to exit. Please do not use the parking lanes before the main entrance to enter the exit line.
I know that waiting in line can be frustrating, but if we all work together and follow the above expectations, the process should be better for everyone.
Thank you for your help and support.

Bus Routes
A message from Transportation:
Bus routes for this year are posted on our website. Please make sure to check this as we have consolidated some routes for this year due to ongoing driver shortages and your stop may have changed from last year.
Also, with several construction projects in the area, our buses may be slightly off our scheduled times. Please continue to have your students at the bus stop 10 minutes before their scheduled time.
FHS Food Pantry
Food Pantry
As in past years, we will be helping Fraser families with basic needs (food, paper products, and hygiene supplies) from our on-site pantry.
If you would like to donate items to the pantry at any time throughout the year, we would be so grateful for your contribution. Here is a "Wish List" for the pantry if you would like some ideas, but any contribution is very much appreciated.
Please drop off donations to the Fraser High School Main Office --ATTN: Stephanie McClain
If you and your family are in need of food assistance at any time, please reach out to your child's counselor, and we would be happy to help!
