Message from Mr. Kingery
Dear Art Rutkin Elementary Families,
The Fun Run is next week! We are looking forward to our Fun Run on Friday, September 27th. Please see the information in this Ram Report for the times your child’s class will be running. Thank you to all our families and community members who have donated to this school-wide fundraiser. The funds will help support each classroom and field trips this year.
Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
Please take time to review the updated 2024-2025 Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. This handbook is found on the TTSD website under “Parents.” We strongly recommend discussing student rights and responsibilities with your child at home after you have reviewed it yourself. This is also a great resource during the year should there be a need to look back at any specific topics. The policies guide how we work with students on a daily basis. Please contact me with any questions regarding students rights and responsibilities while at school.
Please see our spirit week schedule for next week leading up to our Fun Run! We look forward to a fun day with students, volunteers and our staff. We will have a table outside for visitors to check in and a viewing area for all family members joining to watch the fun. We wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Kingery
Principal
The Fun Run is coming!
Art Rutkin Fun Run: September 27th 2024
We invite family and friends to join us in helping raise funds for Art Rutkin field trips, assemblies, ArtLit, STEAM fair and more! Participants can help raise funds by asking family and friends to sponsor them based on the number of laps they run or walk or via a flat donation. Donations can be made via the Get Movin’ website or via cash/check to Art Rutkin PSO.
The Get Movin’ site provides an easy-share participant page to share with family and friends, near or far, for online donations. If you participated last year you can use the same account to register for this year's event.
To register:
1. Click Here for the Get Movin' Website.
2. Register your student page (or log in with last year's account, and click "Add to Current Event")
3. Make a donation using the red "Donate" button.
4. Share your student's personal donation page via text, email, or social media!
Reminders:
- Students who are registered online by September 27th will be entered into a prize raffle!
- Participant pages are private and can NOT be searched for, so you must share them with anyone interested in donating online.
- Donations are being accepted now through October 11th.
- Volunteers are still needed to support the event, if interested please contact funrun@artrutkinpso.org
- You may attend the Fun Run as a volunteer or just watch as a visitor. Volunteers must be registered and cleared by TTSD. All attendees must sign in at the event.
24-25 Fun Run Schedule
Kinder & 1st grade: 8:30-9:00
2nd & 3rd grade: 9:15-9:45

Volunteer Information
Would you like to be a volunteer or be a field trip chaperone? Have you gone through TTSD's volunteer process? If not, please make sure to do so. Once cleared you are good for 3 years. If there is even a slight change your answer is yes, then please complete the steps. It's better to have clearance than not! Here is the link!
*For new students this year coming from another TTSD school and have gone through this process, please email artrutkinoffice@ttsd.k12.or.us and we'll get you added to our volunteer computer.
