Stetser Family Update

I am a Scholar from Stetser Elementary School.

Today I have a new chance to become wiser.

I will strive to reach each goal.

I will be an active listener.

I will work diligently and give my best effort.

I will share what I learned with my family, community and friends.

Why?

Because I am a scholar from Stetser Elementary School.

The 21st Century After School Program begins Monday, October 3, 2022 from 4:00pm - 6:15pm, Monday - Thursday. Letters went home with students that were accepted into the program. Currently, there is a waitlist for students; letters were also sent home for students that are on our waitlist. The Before Care program begins Tuesday, October 11, 2022. All students must be picked up on time.

Our PBIS assembly will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2022. Students are permitted to wear:

• Green, Yellow, or Stetser Shirt
• Uniform Bottom (Khaki, Navy Blue or Black) Pants/Skirt
  

Parents, we're encouraging every child to read at least 15 minutes a night to a family member. Reading instills confidence in your child as well as develops comprehension skills. We have books at Stetser that students are welcome to take home with them. Thank you in advance for your partnership in this endeavor.

Families, together we can achieve anything! Below are school-wide goals that we will focus on for the 2022-2023 school year.

• At least 50% of students in grades 3-5 score proficient or higher on standardized testing
  
• Daily attendance rate at least 87%

All CUSD schools will be closed on Monday, October 10, 2022 in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day
