Volunteers Needed REAL Life Event on March 27, 2025
Junior Achievement of South Central PA needs volunteers for their REAL Life Program at Biglerville High School on March 27, 2025. This program for grades 11 and 12 focuses on financial literacy and the importance of economic success. Volunteers will facilitate activities, helping students understand personal finance and real-world decision-making. No prior school volunteer approval is needed, as training and support will be provided. A light breakfast and lunch will be available for volunteers. Interested individuals can sign up via the attached flyer or contact Shannon Baker at sbaker@jascpa.org. Your support is essential for the success of this event!
Reminder - 11th-GRADE PHYSICALS - Due
The Pennsylvania school code mandates medical examinations for students in grades K, 6, and 11. Physicals are to be completed within 4 months prior to the start of the school year. Contact Nurse Jones @ s.jones@upperadams.org if you have any questions. You may pick up a physical form in the school office or by selecting the link provided Private or School PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM.
School Illness Reminders
As we move into the new year we wanted to touch base with everyone about our school policies around illness. We are well into the season of sharing germs and catching colds—something you are all familiar with! If your child is feeling unwell, we ask that you keep them at home. This is the most effective way to prevent the spread of illnesses! Attached are some reminders about when a child should remain at home or when a parent should be contacted to pick up their child from school.
