Parent University Buzz

As we kick off a new school year, Extera is excited to bring back our Parent University program again. Extera leaders are committed to providing all families opportunities to enhance their own learning and gain insight into the programs offered at Extera. All parents are encouraged to participate!

We had 27 parents show up to our August meetings!

• 9/5- IEP 101/ SpEd Rights at Breed auditorium 8:30

• 9/10- Safety/Drills/ Active Shooter at Eastman library 8:30

Both classes above will be offered in person at 8:30am, and again on Zoom at 6:00pm.

The first class will review what an IEP is and the rights associated with an IEP.

The second class will review all the safety plans and drills at our school site
