Fall Party & Halloween Information
We are excited to have our Fall Parties on October 17th from 2:10-3:10. In order to follow safety procedures all visitors will need to have a badge. We would like to print badges ahead of time, so you can quickly get to the fun parties! Please complete this RSVP so we can get your badge printed. Also, if you have not had your ID scanned in the past year, you may do this in advance of the party by visiting the Dressel office. ALL visitors must complete this step in order to attend the party.
PARKING - As we return to parties, a quick reminder that parking will be limited. Please ride with someone if possible. Also, please only park in the areas marked in BLUE on the map below. We also ask that you leave promptly after the party so we can begin our dismissal procedure.
Halloween Costume Update:
Students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Halloween, which will be Thursday, Oct. 31. Costumes are optional, and to ensure that the school day proceeds without interruption, they must meet the following requirements:
- Costumes may be worn on Halloween only, not during fall classroom celebration
Students must be able to wear the costume to school and throughout the school day without any adult assistance (no changing clothes at school)
- The costume must allow the student to participate in learning without distractions (ex: no props, inflatable costumes, large boxes, etc.)
- Please spray hair before coming to school if you feel colored hair is keeping with the character. No aerosol cans are allowed on the bus or at school.
No masks. Face masks that cover the entire face are prohibited for safety reasons.
No toy weapons of any kind. Absolutely no weapons--real or pretend--or props that could cause injury. This includes, but is not limited to, knives, spears, hatchets, guns, and swords.
Costumes must be respectful of others and may not include anything violent or gruesome (no blood).
- Costumes should not be graphically violent such as bloody masks, stab wounds, or other injuries.
- Costumes should not be offensive to any religion, race, or culture.
- Costumes should not make any reference to substances that are prohibited for sale to minors.
- Costumes should not depict any activity that would otherwise be considered a crime or illegal act.
- Students will not have an opportunity to change at school.

WOW! Our community keeps rising to the goal! Thank you for all of the support!
On Monday, students enjoyed a DJ dance party as we celebrated our fundraising milestone of $20,000.
Hogs & Kisses to all the families that joined Thursday evening to celebrate raising more than $17,500 and watch Dr. Schoenekase and Dr. Albers kiss a pig!
The Principals are looking forward to more fun as we continue to celebrate our fundraising achievements. We crushed our $25,000 goal, so a Principal will become a human ice cream sundae!
We have also added another school wide incentive! If we raise $30,000, a staff member will be duct taped to the wall during a school-wide assembly on October 31st.
As we enter our last week of fundraising for the Move A Thon, we encourage you to register your child so they can be entered into the drawing to help complete these school wide incentives. Registration is free and any child that is registered will be entered into the drawings. Visit www.getmovinfundhub.com to register, if you are a new account use the following school Identifier: 5d35f6f5bcd12
