LnHS Weekly Update - June 2nd
Make note of our different bell schedules this week.
Dear Lancaster High School Eagle Families
It's our LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! As we wrap up our school year and enter our last week of school, just a friendly reminder that Orbeez gel guns or any other imitation guns including water guns are strictly prohibited and often lead to situations where we get false information or false reports of weapons, leading to school-wide disturbances. Any report of a weapon on campus MUST be met with the assumption that the weapon is dangerous until proven otherwise. Do not bring any of these toys to campus.
Also, as hot as it is going to become, water fights are strictly prohibited. Save this fun for your neighborhood!
This week is bittersweet as we love celebrating our school year, but will miss our students as we head into graduation and summer break. With empty desks comes the anticipation of a new year!
June Intersession is open for sign ups. This WILL FILL UP. Read the information clearly to make sure you are signing up for the correct grade/credit program. If you do not follow the directions, you will miss out as we will have more students than spots available. Please take the time to read the information so you can participate.

June Intersession Info and Expectations
Information and Expectations for June Intersession (This is not Summer School)
There are two types of June Intersession - CREDIT RECOVERY and GRADE BOOST. Read below for the difference.
This intersession will require the ability to be available to work during the 15 days between June 9th - June 27th.
This is a virtual session and you must have access to your full Google Account.
Students will be dropped if they do not contact or check in with the teacher on day 1.
Independent Study and OSC students may continue to work with their teachers directly over the break and are NOT to sign up for either intersession.
STUDENTS MUST CHECK THEIR SCHOOL EMAIL and contact the teacher throughout the June Intersession. All enrollments will be through the student's email account. STUDENTS MUST CHECK THEIR EMAIL.
Credit Recovery June Intersession
Credit Recovery June Intersession - 15 days, June 9th - June 27th
Credit Recovery June Intersession - This intersession is for students to sign up for CREDIT RECOVERY INTERSESSION. Credit recovery Intersession is for making up failed classes that have already been taken or to raise a D grade for completed classes that you are no longer in. This intersession is NOT to raise your CURRENT grades.
Please do not confuse this with Grade Boost Intersession (information about Grade Boost is below this section). Current-class Grade Boost Intersession is run by your current teacher (if they are doing it) and all sign-ups for Grade Boost go directly through your teacher (see below).
This intersession is for Credit Recovery of past courses with F or D grades. If you are in Independent Study or OSC, DO NOT sign up here as you will work directly with your current I.S. or OSC teacher (contact them to sign up).
YOU MUST USE YOUR STUDENT SCHOOL ACCOUNT to sign up for June Intersession. If you get an error when filling out the sign up form, you are most likely not on your school account. Access your school account and retry.
This form is to sign up for LnHS June Credit Recovery Intersession, which is 15 days, June 9th - June 27th. This is only to make up a FAILED class or a posted D grade of a previously taken class. Sessions WILL FILL UP. This is first-come, first-served, based on applications filled out properly. Applications not filled out properly will not be processed. Sign ups close on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 4:30pm.
Grade Boost June Intersession (To raise a CURRENT grade with CURRENT Teacher)
Grade Boost June Intersession (for current classes)
Grade Boost June Intersession - This intersession is held on a teacher-by-teacher basis and individual teachers will set up the expectations and schedules to receive a grade boost of a CURRENT 2nd semester or 1st-semester class from THIS YEAR in a class you are currently in. If a student is interested in a grade boost, students must contact their current teacher if the teacher is doing a grade boost and sign up with the teacher directly. As this is not a requirement and only a supplement, not all teachers will be hosting a June Intersession, and availability is dependent on the teachers who are hosting. This will be held virtually.

- Look on the left side of the screen and find the "Homework Help" button
- It will prompt you to log into Google with your student account if have not already
- Click on the button for tutoring
