Dear Hayshire Families,

For the month of February, our special teachers and specialists had the honor of selecting Hayshire Students of the Month. Congratulations to Harlow Wibel from Mrs. Luring's kindergarten class and Allen Blanchard from Mrs. Cline's first grade class for receiving this recognition. Both children demonstrate values such as perseverance, character, community, and excellence! Harlow and Allen were recognized at Monday's school board meeting!

Our next round of conferences will take place on Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14. Once again, families will use Skyward to schedule a Parent-Teacher Conference. The Conference Scheduler will open in Skyward on Tuesday, February 18 at 8:00 AM. This will allow you flexibility to select a time. The Parent-Teacher Conference provides a time to meet with the teacher and learn more about your child's progress, academically, socially, and emotionally. We know that success for your child is family and school working together!

Just a reminder... Friday, February 21 is a Positive P.O.W.E.R. t-shirt day! On these days, we encourage all of our Hayshire students and staff to wear their P.O.W.E.R. shirts. These shirts are a sign of unity, pride, and school spirit. Show your spirit and spread some Positive Hayshire POWER!

Friday, February 14 is an early dismissal. Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. President's Day is observed on Monday, February 17. There is no school for students and faculty.

Mark your calendar! Thursday, February 27 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM is our next Hayshire Family Night. Bring your books and a blanket to cuddle up and read with your family. There will be special guest readers. PTO will provide hot chocolate and treats! Don't forget to wear your pajamas!

Kindergarten Registration is now open for the 2025/2026 school year. We are excited to welcome upcoming Kindergartner to our Panther Family. Per District Policy, students must be five years of age on or before August 31, 2025 to be enrolled for Kindergarten. Kindergarten Registration will take place at Hayshire Elementary on Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15. You will select a 30 minute time slot. Your child should attend with you that day!

• Our next meeting day is March 6 at 6:00 pm in the Hayshire library.
• Thursday, February 27 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM is our Read-A-Thon Family Night. Bring your books and a blanket to cuddle up and read with your family.
• Monday, March 3 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM is the Chipotle Fundraiser. 25% of event sales get donated to our Hayshire PTO!
• Discount Hershey Park Tickets will be available through our Hayshire PTO. See below.

Central York School District offers optional protection plans for your child’s District issued devices.

The protection plan fully covers your child’s device for any accidental damage that occurs. The cost is $25 per year for iPads and $60 per year for Macbooks.
