Dear Parents,
It was great to see all of our Warrior family at PE night and the Black History play. Kudos to our coaches for planning the fun night! Special thank you to our student performers and teachers who put in hard work and dedication to create and present the Black History play. What an outstanding performance by our students!!
It is hard to believe that we are in the last few weeks of the 3rd 9-weeks. Time is certainly moving fast and high quality instruction and student learning remain our highest priorities.
Soon your child's teacher (3rd-5th) will be sharing their STAAR interim data. Please be sure to carefully look this over as it is important, timely information to help us prepare individualized targeted plans for each student.
We appreciate your continued partnership to ensure each student reaches their full potential!

- In math we will identify and create patterns and explore 3-D shapes.
- In Science we will learn about light, heat, and electricity in the first week. Then we will explore magnets, and experiment with force and motion.
- We will read and discuss books about different modes of transportation and use the information as we learn and play.
Reminders: As the weather is changing, please ensure that your child has a weather appropriate change of clothing in their backpack daily. Our day is full of learning and fun, so make sure your child comes to school well rested and ready for our adventure. Thank you for your support on our learning journey.

We are Stepping Up with our students this month in developing the strength to face something difficult, TOGETHER! We are building our capacities to face something hard, something that we have self-doubt about, and even things that we feel are beyond our reach. Let’s do this by engaging in courage role-play, empower with roles and responsibilities at home, and excelling in trying something new. We can do the impossible when we work together! Our family and community can support us by simply engaging in the conversation starters found at the end of each newsletter. Our counseling highlights this month include positive communication, conflict resolution, cooperation, and anxiety & worry.
