A Message from the Principals
Happy Friday, Pine Brook Families!
A huge thank you to Mr. Mascadri, Mr. Wood and Ms. Dellagloria
for coordinating a FANTASTIC Field Day for our Panthers. We are also thankful for all of our parents and our Arcadia High School volunteers for running 12 different stations that the students got to go to!
Our PTSA also hosted a great 5th Grade Social to celebrate the end of the year! The students played games, danced, ate, and enjoyed a photobooth. Check-out the photos and a link to the pictures from the photo booth below.
Letβs keep the party going! And keep up the fantastic attendance for the remainder of the year. School is where the magic happens!
Enjoy the Weekend!

π Kids Heart Challenge π
Kids Heart Challenge in PE Class!
In April, students at Pine Brook took part in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. This event consisted of students having the option of helping to raise donations for the AHA and concluded with all students participating in the Kids Heart Challenge Event in their Physical Education Classes. During the event students took part in a variety of activities related to physical activity and exercise. They participated in jump activities, basketball, and jump roping all while learning the importance of having a healthy heart and raising awareness for heart disease.
This year the students at Pine Brook raised over $5500 for the American Heart Disease in their fight against heart disease! Our top 3 students raised over $300 each: Zoey Henderson, Ava Gwara, and the top donation leader Adalynn D'Ambrosio with over $450 raised. We are proud of those who helped raise donations and everyone for participating in the event!

We are so grateful for the support of the Pine Brook Community with this fundraiser. Every penny makes a difference with our the families and the organization hosted their Survivorsβ Day Celebration this past Sunday where they had over 70 Families RSVP. It was a day of fun and games for our Families. A day to celebrate Survivorship and meet other Families just like them. Support like this allows C.U.R.E. to plan activities for our Families like the Survivorsβ Day Picnic. Thank you, again, for your kindness.

π₯ KidsCare π₯
KidsCare will once again be offering a summer program for K-5 Greece Central students. This yearβs theme is Back to the Future and we are very busy planning engaging activities based around time travel! Please review the 2024 Summer Program flier. Registration will open on March 18th for current KidsCare families and we will begin processing registrations from applicants across the district on April 1st.
Additionally, it is also time to start thinking about your before and after school needs for the 2024-2025 school year. Please review the new school year flier and note that registration for the fall will open on April 15th. All summer and fall registrations are processed through My School Bucks and require that you have your account set up first, and then, continue to register at msbactivities.com using your same username and password from My School Bucks.
If you need support in the registration process please reach out to heather.barton@greececsd.org or kellygiudice@greececsd.org. You can also contact our office by phone at 966-2456.
Last Day of School
Please be advised that the last day of school for students in PreK-8 has been moved up two days and is now Friday, June 21. The printed school calendar you received in the fall had indicated that June 25 would be the last day of school. The Greece Central School District often moves up the last day of the school year when we do not use all of the allotted snow days. Please be aware that June 21 will be a half-day for K-8 students. Nothing is changing for high school students. The last day of classes for 9-12 students remains June 13, after which they attend by exam only.
π± Who to Call π±
Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
For Step 1 concerns at Pine Brook, please start with the person closest to the situation. They should be able to help you navigate the situation. If the concern rises to a Step 2, please contact the Assistant Principal. For your convenience there is a list below of contacts at Pine Brook:
