Happy Monday!

I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Interim reports went home last week. Please be sure and ask your child to see theirs. If they don't have it, have lost it, or is saying they did not get one, feel free to reach out and we can get you a new one. You can also log into HAC to see your child's grades anytime. If you need assistance with this, call the front office and let us know!

Speaking of interims and grades - as you know, our mantra is Learning is Required. I have heard from a few teachers who are saying they have a few students who are simply choosing to not work, and are choosing to not complete test corrections for a better grade, which would change their grade to a passing grade. I am asking those teachers to reach out to parents for help. I want to speak to those students as well. It is going to take us all to shift their mindsets from choosing to take the easy way out, choosing to do their best work.

We have lots of things happening this week! Thursday night we play Fountain Lake at home, and it's a Gold Out! Come join us for a great game for a great cause!

A quick reminder about dress code - please check your child before they leave the house for pajama pants, track shorts, and just overall appropriateness. If you think "I don't know...?" then it is probably not ok!

We have had a great start to the year regarding dress code. The students have been dressed appropriately and ready for learning! The illustration below really sums it up! Just remember, no pajama pants, track shorts, and headgear. And remember the dress code, as this applies to the school day AND school sponsored events - including football games and other sporting events.
