The Henrietta ISD Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on October 14, 2024.
Kooper & Henry Shannon led the Pledge of Allegiance & Texas Pledge
Scott Williams shared the Invocation to begin the meeting.
There was no public comment.
The Board heard a report on Career and Technical Education (CTE) from Kolt Bennett.
The Board approved all consent agenda items: September 9 Regular meeting minutes, Minutes of the Clay-Jack SSA Board of Directors meeting, the September tax report and the payment of district bills.
The Board heard the District Financial Report, the quarterly investment report, Campus and District Improvement Plans, the E3 Report, Construction Report, and approved amendments to the 2024-25 budget, changes to the District Calendar, the 2024-25 Head Start Community and Parent Representative for the Policy Council, and the 2024-25 Clay County Appraisal District Budget.
The Board heard the yearly report on English as a Second Language from Paige Liggett.
Chief Learning Officer Kendra Bennett shared reports on Istation, Grant Resources, and House Bill 3.
Superintendent Jaime Clark shared the superintendent report, covering Safety and Security, a bond update, a Facility & Committee update, and the Golden Bearcat Club Report.
After going into closed session, the Board reconvened the meeting and took action on items discussed in closed session.
