Sep. 21-Picture Day!
we are closed Monday, Sep. 7 for Labor Day!
Dear Parents and Students in Virtual Learning,
We are also so thankful that our in-class students who have also been patient as our teachers learn to navigate this whole new platform of learning. Below are some photos and short clips of virtual/in-class learning the first week of school.
School Picture day is Tuesday Sep 21!
Virtual students may come in during their class time slot. An adult must remain with the student until they are finished.
Picture order forms will be sent soon!
In-Class Student Families-Please arrive on time!
Students should be arriving no later than 7:50am so they have time to use the bathroom, get to class, and in their seat because the first class starts at 8am. Thank you so much for your cooperation!
Some Mom Tips-Plan the night before!
1. Have uniforms ready before you go to bed so you aren't searching in the morning (=less stress)
Remember: PE uniform-Mon/Wed/Friday
Regular Uniform: Tues/Thurs
2. Have an idea what is for breakfast so that anything you can do to prepare the night before can be done (less stress and less rushing!) Students need a good breakfast for brain fuel! Don't let them skip breakfast because you're in a hurry!
3. Have book bags ready with all their supplies and shoes by the front door (so you're not looking for a pair in the morning = less stress!)
4. Pack lunches and healthy snacks the night before so they are ready to grab on the way out.
5. Get kids to bed on time (rested kids are easier to work with in the morning!) I have 3 littles ones, trust me, I know the struggle!
Finally, remember we are all human and we will have our days. Be patient and kind with others, you don't always know what that person/family could be going through. We will get through this together!
VIRTUAL FAMILIES! These two videos talk about Online Class Etiquette! Please take a moment to watch AT LEAST ONE of these videos
1. Background noise-please remember, your child should be in a quiet work space!
No TV, music, or any other distractions. If a parent has to help a student log in, please be mindful and remember that all students can see you. Please be fully clothed in something you would wear to a classroom. -no bras, pjs, and inappropriate attire for a classroom.
2. Students should be in a well-lit area and in the camera's view.
3. Students should log in, say a quick hello and place microphone on mute unless answering or asking a question.
4. Students should not be eating, drinking, or getting up out of their seat while in class. All supplies should be available nearby.
The following videos are short but explain virtual class expectations. Please watch at least one of them. Thank you for your cooperation!
