FES Reads starts November 1st!
Everyone will be receiving a recording sheet for FES Reads. Simply date and sign verifying that your student has spent between 10 minutes (grades PreK-2) and 15 minutes (grades 3-5) “eyes on print”. Return this sheet at the end of the month to receive an incentive.
The Calculation Station
We kicked off October with a visit from "Fluency" the dog in grades 3-5. Fluency came to promote our Multiplication Fact Fluency Kick-Off! When students are fluent in their multiplication facts, they will earn dog tags to indicate their success. Stay tuned for more information from your child's teacher!
Attendance
Individual students who earned perfect attendance for the month of September took part in a Disco Dance & Ice-Cream Party! A great time was had by all. Students got to take part if they missed no days, and did not arrive late, or leave early.
Congratulations to the following homerooms for having a 94% or greater attendance rate for the month of September! The class with the best attendance at the end of the year wins an AwEsOmE InCeNtIvE!
