VETERAN'S DAY ASSEMBLY
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended our Veteran's Day Assembly. Our students put in a tremendous amount of effort to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served in the military. Your presence made the event even more meaningful, and we are truly thankful for your support in recognizing the sacrifices of our Veterans.
WE LOVE OUR PTO!
The PTO ladies treated students to refreshing Hawaiian sno cones as a sweet reward for their hard work and dedication during the TVP Fund Run. A perfect way to celebrate their efforts even though it was a cool day.
TVP COMMUNITY GARDEN
Coming soon is a garden area for all at TVP to enjoy! Through a grant from the ESD 112, a generous donation from Bark Ranch, and generous support from Mike Stewart, the 3rd grade students from Mr. Haensel’s class were able to fill 14 raised garden beds this week that are scattered around Tukes Valley Primary! We can’t wait until Spring!

ANNUAL REPORT
Our 2024 Report to Our Community should have arrived in your mailbox if you live within the district. You can also view it in a digital format. The report includes information on enrollment, demographics, educational progress, budget and recent curriculum adoptions. You’ll also find important information about how local levy funding affects every school in our district.. Be sure to give it a read!
LIBRARY CORNER
School libraries are important sources of information for young readers. Parents and guardians are welcome to see what's available in their child’s school library and review the books their child has checked out. Find out how. If there are books you do not wish your child to read, please contact the teacher-librarian at your child's school. The teacher librarian will note these restrictions in your child's account.
KIDS HEART CHALLENGE
Save the Date!
Kickoff Assembly:: January 7th, 2025
Event Date:: January 24th, 2025
More information to come!
NURSE KRISTINE
If your child is unable to participate in any PE activities or recess due to any injury, we need to have a note from a provider's office. The note needs to outline the nature of the injury and the recommended restrictions your child may have. With this documentation, it helps us with proper protocols and ensures your child's safety here at school. We are unable to take handwritten notes from parents keeping them out of activities. If we receive one, you may receive a call from the school nurse asking to contact your provider's office.
WEATHER RELATED DELAY AND CLOSURE
WE ARE CONSIDERED A NORTH SCHOOL
It may be hard to believe, but the potential for wintry weather will soon be in the forecast. Please visit the district’s weather and emergency information page to make sure you are ready in the event of a school closure or delay. Please remember we never have an early release and a late start.
How we notify families
Automated phone calls, emails and texts: Please keep your contact information updated in Skyward (Family Access) or contact your school office. On weather days, calls may begin going out as early as 5:30 a.m. to families who have not opted out.
Information line: 360-885-5343 (updated by 6 a.m. on weather impacted days).
Flash Alert: Sign up for email alerts or download the mobile app for updates about emergency and non-emergency issues. You must re-subscribe every year.
TV and radio stations, local newspapers may share information at their discretion.
Please download and print our weather guide for quick access to weather-related information and make sure you know if your child’s school is in the north or south part of the district.
BUS TIMES AND WEATHER RELATED DELAYS
Expect your bus to be at the at the delayed time. As an example if there is a two hour late start and the bus is normally at the stop at 8:30 then it will be 10:30. Please pay attention to the delay time communicated by the district.
If snow routes are in effect in the morning, those same buses will be on snow routes in the afternoon, too, regardless of the weather by that time. For snow routes, if your bus stop is different from your regular stop, then a guardian must meet their child at the snow route stop at the end of the day or the student will be transported back to school.
BREAKFAST AND WEATHER RELATED LATE START
LOST AND FOUND
Our lost and found is overflowing. Please either ask your child to look for lost items or feel free to come and look yourself. We will lay out all the items during conference week and all items will be donated on December 13th, 2024.
