he End of Year PBIS Bounce House Party will be happening on Tuesday, May 21st. Students who receive 72 points for PBIS RAMS Can Behavior will get to attend, if a parent/guardian fills out the Bounce House Waiver Form. By filling out the Bounce House Waiver you, as the parent or guardian, are releasing Trip Elementary and it's staff members and volunteers from all responsibility should any injury arise while your child is using the bounce houses.

We are excited that the GCPS Book Mobile will be visiting our school on May 13th!. Every students will get to choose a new book for free to keep and take home!

The mission of the Book Mobile program is to put books into kids' hands. The two GCPS Book Mobiles visit an average of 140 Gwinnett schools each year and have over 5,000 books on the shelves.

The program relies on donations and sponsorships to purchase the new books. Please consider contributing to this literacy initiative by donating here. You will receive a receipt in the mail for your donation.

We need a few good volunteers to help with mowing and weed whacking the walking areas in the outdoor classroom/garden area over the summer. Even if you can only help out one time, that would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Debbie.Partrick@gcpsk12.org and say YES! 😊

Rising 4th and 5th Grade students and parents,

The Grayson Cluster Theatre Arts Teachers conduct a 2-week Theater Summer Camp each year at Grayson High School. We produce a short show to perform on the GHS big stage on the last day for parents. It is very affordable compared to other Arts camps.

No Charge Breakfast Meal! Please have your students take advantage of the no charge breakfast meals here in the Trip Café! We offer hot and cold breakfast everyday with the options of fruit, juice and milk!

We absolutely love for families to come visit our students for lunch. A few things to remember:

1. No food from outside restaurants are allowed in the cafeteria.

2. Please follow the schedule for grade level lunch visitation:

• Tuesdays- Kindergarten & 5th Grade
• Wednesdays- 1st Grade & 4th Grade
• Thursdays- 2nd Grade & 3rd Grade

3. If there is a change to the schedule it will be sent via ParentSquare and in the weekly newsletter.

Parents, please keep us informed of any changes to your contact information such as email, phone number, and address. It is very important that we are able to contact parents or guardians in case of an emergency. Updates can be made on the parent portal. Thanks so much!
