Week of Respect
At John Marshall School we encourage all of our learners to always be respectful to each other. We hope the learners participate in the dress up days to celebrate the Week of Respect.

Environmental Assembly
Last week our learners had an assembly focusing on strategies on how to keep our environment clean. We know our John Marshall Dragons will implement what they learn.
Family Planting Day
Family Planting Day will be October 10th for students in Grades 4 & 5 who are in the Environmental Club. Parents/Guardians must attend the event, as it is a Family Event.
Fire Prevention Week
Kindergarten and Grade 1 will have the fire trucks come on October 11th. Students will get to meet some Edison Firefighters.
Assembly for October
We are excited to host an assembly to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on October 17th. Students will learn how native cultures and Spanish culture combined to create a unique Mexican culture of music, dance, and costuming. Students come away with a fresh and authentic perspective of Mexican culture.
Student Illness
If your child is sick, please keep them home and do not give them any fever reducers. We don’t want to have to call you to pick them up your child once your day has begun.
Bus Safety
All children must wear their seatbelts and stay seated when the bus is moving. Please review with your children that everyone needs to respect one another on the bus. Students should keep their hands and feet to themselves. Also, everyone should do their best to not make it too loud on the bus.
New Websites & District App
We encourage all families to visit the new John Marshall and District websites for important information throughout the year. Families can also stay informed about school events and news using the new Mobile App.
