Fun Run
Thank you to everyone for making our Studley Fun Run a success this year! Together we raised just over $32,200 for our school! Thanks to the families for their support and to the staff for your hard work and flexibility, especially with ever-changing New England weather!
I know the last minutes decision to move the Fun Run inside was a bit disappointing, especially for our fourth graders. However, looking back - it was a strong lesson of "When life gives you lemons..." The students, staff, and families could have easily gone in and just went through the motions, disappointed in what could have been. However - the exact OPPOSITE happened. Everyone stepped up and did what needed to happen to make it an enjoyable experience for all - and wow, was it! It was so fun to watch the kids laugh, dance, and yes run! It was a proud moment for me for sure.
To celebrate our HUGELY successful fundraiser and surpassing our goals, we will be having a school wide SPIRIT DAY on Friday, May 31st - Wacky and Wild Day! Dress in a silly way - lots of colors, inside out, backwards clothes - be creative!
Grades 3 and 4 Concert

AHS Graduation Walk
On Thursday, May 30th - seniors from Attleboro High School will return to the halls of their elementary and middle schools where their journeys all started. This will be one final walk through before they cross the stage at Graduation on Friday night. Our Studley Stars will get to clap out and cheer on the Class of 2024. As we prepare to say our goodbyes to our 4th graders and send them off to middle school, this event is a reminder of how fast the years really are. We wish them all the best of luck in whatever their post high school plans are, and we are happy to have played a role in each of their journeys.
Device Update
All chromebooks and chargers that belong to 4th graders will be collected the last week of school. All incoming 5th graders will receive a new chromebook in the fall.
All current 2nd and 3rd grade students will bring home their chromebook and charger for the summer. We will complete an inventory to make sure all students go home with what they need. They will need to bring back both the chromebook and charger when they return to school in the fall. Failure to do so will result in a replacement fee.
Transition to Middle School - 4th Grade
As a way to begin the transition for our 4th graders to middle school, the Principals from the three middle schools go on a "tour" to meet the students and tell them a little of what they can expect. On Friday, Mr. Boles (CMS) and Mr. Yangambi (BMS) visited the SES 4th graders to get them excited for middle school.
During the school day on June 4th, our fourth grade students will be visiting their middle schools for a tour of the building. They will leave Studley around 9:00AM and return around 11:00AM.
On the evening of June 4th (Brennan) and June 5th (Coelho and Wamsutta) at 6:00PM the parents/guardians of incoming 5th graders (our current fourth graders) are invited to their middle schools for an Information Night. Be on the lookout for more information from the middle school!

William James College Interface Referral Service
Any resident of Attleboro or student attending the Attleboro Public Schools (through a guardian) can access the William James College INTERFACE Referral Service. The INTERFACE Helpline helps individuals in subscribing communities become connected with outpatient mental health and wellness resources.
Through the Helpline that operates from 9 AM- 5 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 8 AM- 6 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, callers will complete an intake which takes about 15-20 minutes and then within a day or so of their call will be assigned to work with a Resource and Referral Counselor who will help them navigate the challenges of finding mental health services, including obtaining a referral match to an outpatient provider, as well as information and resources related to mental health and wellness. Please see What to Expect When You Call the Helpline or visit interface.williamjames.edu for more information.
The INTERFACE Helpline is not an emergency service. If you or the person you are seeking to assist requires a crisis response to meet immediate safety needs, please call 988, 911, go to your local emergency room, or find your local crisis services by calling 833-773-2445 and asking for crisis support.
Car Drop Off/Outdoor Play
As you know, our school day starts at 8:30AM. This means there are no staff members on duty to supervise students until 8:30AM. Several students are leaving their cars before 8:30AM to play. If you are allowing your child(ren) to leave your car and play before school, they must be supervised. Students cannot leave that area and go to the side or back of the building where they would be unsupervised. Thank you for your attention to this.
