Pride Parade Reminders

DC's annual Pride Parade happens this afternoon! Those marching with DCPS can meet at T and 15th St at 2:30pm (the start of the parade). If you're able to register to march, please do so here. If not, the PTA has a number of extra registrations to cover families who want to join! This opportunity is open to all LGBTQI+ families and allies.

Marchers are encouraged to wear Ross shirts if you have them! DCPS and the PTA will provide a Ross banner and flags and necklaces for the marchers to pass out along the route.

For those watching from the sidelines, there will be a Family Fun Area at Stead Park from 3-7pm with face painting, balloon art, games, and other family activities. And there will be an exclusive Family-Friendly Parade Viewing Area at the corner of 17th and P St, for families with small children.
