Teacher Appreciation is right around the corner! The PTA is looking for food donations for a potluck luncheon on Monday, May 6th. The rest of the week, local restaurants have donated to our staff. Bus passes will be permitted if a bus has not reached capacity. Transportation rules require that both of the students qualify for bus transportation. Both students must submit a note before lunchtime from their parent to the Main Office. The signed note from the parent should include the student’s regular bus number as well as the bus number that they will be a visitor on. The pass can be picked up in the office by one of the students later in the day. We are sorry but last minute notes or calls home for forgotten notes cannot be permitted. Passes are not issued on half days of school.

Mr. Stuehmer's class of fourth grade students demonstrated their knowledge of the Greek Gods, reciting facts and putting on a show for students and guests during their wax museum presentation.

The Ebeling Math Olympiad Teams recently participated in the District Quiz Bowl and Live Teams Competitions. Students have been studying and practicing for the events. The Thanos' Snap team was able to snag 5th place ribbons in both the Teams and Quiz Bowl competitions. Congratulations on a job well done, everyone!

Teachers will work to identify students who would most benefit from additional learning opportunities this summer based on recent performance on standardized tests and classroom assessments. If you were contacted/invited by your child's teacher, registration opened April 29.

Summer Programs for students entering grades 6 and 7 begin on June 17, 2024, and will end on July 26, 2024. Summer programs will be supported by grant funds and will be free of charge for all participants. Students will be served free breakfast and lunch and transportation will be provided.

For every $25 Deneweth’s Gift Card purchased, $5 will be given back to the PTA to be used toward educational materials and/or special events.

The final PTA meeting of this school year was held on Wednesday, May 1st. Prior to the official meeting starting at 7:00 PM, the annual potluck dinner was held, providing the opportunity for parents and teachers to celebrate and reflect on the school year. The current PTA Board members were recognized, with special thanks going to outgoing PTA Treasurer Jason Spina for his years of service!

If your child wishes to eat breakfast at school, they must order breakfast the day before when asked by their classroom teacher. When entering school for breakfast, students must enter through the main doors (either Door 1, or Door 9) and proceed directly to the gym/cafeteria. Doors will open at 8:05, and breakfast will be available to eat until 8:25.
