Celebrating the Class of 2025!
Last Friday, 675 graduates crossed the stage at the 134th Commencement Ceremony for Westfield High School! Among this accomplished group are recipients of the prestigious Lilly and Wells scholarships, as well as an appointee to the United States Naval Academy. Graduates were offered an impressive $33,831,096 in scholarship opportunities, with $13,506,475 accepted. Westfield students also demonstrated academic excellence by taking 1,814 Advanced Placement (AP) exams, achieving an 85% passing rate, and producing 124 AP Scholars to date.
Beyond academic achievements, the Class of 2025 demonstrated incredible resilience, grit, and determination. This year, Westfield High School earned multiple awards and championship titles in both athletics and performing arts. We also saw the Class of 2025 make a major impact on our local community by adding 25 new clubs to WHS and raising funds and awareness for a variety of charities.
We couldn't be more proud of these students and their talent and dedication. They truly exemplify what it means to be Life Ready!

First Lieutenant Josef Eisgruber Visits Oak Trace Students
Back in December, second grade students from Ms. Chelovitz's at Oak Trace Elementary brought holiday cheer to soldiers overseas with a thoughtful care-package project. Former librarian Mrs. Lane told the students of family friend First Lieutenant Josef Eisgruber and his platoon, inspiring this project. Flash forward to May, Josef payed a visit to Oak Trace to thank them for their kindness and to teach them about life in the military. The kids even learned how to properly salute!
