Dear Franklin Academy Families,

What an amazing school year it has been! As we head into summer, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued partnership and support.

A huge thank you to the families who completed the 2024–2025 Parent Satisfaction Survey. We are proud to share that 92% of our families would recommend Franklin Academy to a friend! Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we will be reviewing the survey results this summer as we continue to grow and improve.

Our graduation ceremonies last Saturday were a huge success! We order more chairs each year, and each year we are truly impressed by the number of loved ones who come to celebrate our amazing students—thank you for being there!

Yesterday’s Quarter 4 Carnival was also a fantastic celebration, and it would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible PTO, staff, and parent volunteers. We truly appreciate all of your hard work and support!

A few important reminders:

• Be sure to order school supplies for next year by July 1st. The flyer and link are included in our newsletter.
• Service hour opportunities will be sent out soon for families needing additional hours by June 30th.

First-time Portal Users: To Access the Volunteer Portal, you are required to complete a one-time “Volunteer Application”. Once the application is approved, you will receive an email with instructions on the next steps, including a link to setup your portal password. All information will remain confidential.

Returning Portal Users: Click HERE to sign in.

Franklin families can access their child(ren)'s username and password via the website based Parent Portal of PowerSchool. The information can be found by clicking "Student ID's" on the left-hand side and looking under "student credentials". These credentials allow students to access clever, which connects students to curriculum materials (like HMH, Go Math, iXL, progress learning...etc), google classroom, PowerSchool, and more.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day at Boynton Beach! Behind our students’ success stories and milestones, there’s the relentless effort and guidance of their wonderful teachers. Thank you again to our teachers for being a steadfast pillar in their educational journey.

The Boynton Beach campus is excited to share that Priscilla, a 6th grade student, was recently selected to serve as a House Page in the Florida House of Representatives! She spent a week in Tallahassee, assisting the Chamber by delivering messages, leading the Pledge of Allegiance, and even participating in a mock session on a proposed bill. This prestigious program, a tradition dating back to 1865, honors each participant by recording their service in the Journal of the House. Students gain firsthand insight into the legislative process and have the opportunity to visit significant sites such as the Governor’s Mansion and the Florida Supreme Court.

We are excited to announce that Franklin Academy is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year, with the goal of achieving full enrollment at each grade level. To support this effort, we are launching a Parent Referral Program and encourage all of our current families to help spread the word and refer new families to our school.

By participating, families can earn service hours for each referred family that attends a campus tour. Additionally, new families will be entered into a drawing for a free Franklin uniform set upon enrollment.

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Pick up referral postcards at the front office or access digital copies on our website and in our weekly newsletter.
• Share the postcards in person, via social media, text, or email.
• Encourage referred families to attend a campus tour with completed materials.

Fortify FL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.

QUICK AND EASY SAFETY TIP SUBMISSION

By accessing Fortify FL, students can provide a description of the threat, share pics, and videos and optionally submit their contact information. Submissions can be anonymous or non-anonymous. Submitting a tip is quick and easy using our mobile app or website.

All Franklin Academy students have access to Fortify FL via their Clever portal dashboard.
