Saints' City MicroSociety = Mega Learning! ðŸ§
Our students are excited to welcome families, community members, and business mentors to our Community Market on Thursday, May 22nd from 1:00–2:45 PM! Come see hands-on learning in action as our young entrepreneurs and creators showcase their skills, projects, and passions!
Stepping Back in Time 📜
This week, our Kinder, Grade 1, 4, 5, and 6 students took a step back in time with a visit to Historical Dunvegan Park! Exploring the rich history of this land helped deepen our connection to the past and build a stronger foundation for the future for our Saints!
Notes From the Library📚
All library books (except daily readers) are due back by Monday, May 26th. If all books are returned—or any lost book fees are paid—by that date, students will be entered into a fun prize draw from the library! Let’s get those books back and wrap up the year with a chance to win!
Saints in Motion! 🥅
Our Saints were in action this week as Coach Amanda from the Peace Country Ringette Association joined us for a full day of learning, games, and fun in the gym! A huge thank-you to Amanda for sharing her time, expertise, and passion for sport—our Saints had an unforgettable experience!
Staff Appreciation Week! 🤩
This week was Staff Appreciation Week, and we’re proud to celebrate some of the best, including our teachers, support staff, bus drivers and so much more! Our incredible team is supported by amazing administration, a fantastic, active Booster Group and loving community—thank you all for making our school such a great place to learn and grow!
Junior High: Helping out and Looking Ahead 😎
Our Junior High students took their learning beyond the classroom this week! They explored future possibilities at the Youth Career Expo, discovering a variety of career paths and opportunities. Later, they gave back to the community by acting as ambassadors—cleaning up the Community Garden beds and getting them ready to grow nutritious food for all. What a great mix of dreaming big and doing good!
Alice's Alberta Energy Adventure! ðŸŽ
Staff and students were treated to an engaging performance by the Evergreen Theatre Group with "Alice’s Alberta Energy Adventure"! The show was educational, musical, and full of fun. Hats off to the talented performers—and to our very own Saints who stepped up with pizzazz to support the production behind the scenes!
Faith Update! ⛪
Immaculate Conception Church is hoping to raise funds to complete much-needed repairs to our building, and we would love your support!
Consider joining them on Saturday May 3rd for the annual Highway Cleanup Fundraiser. Along with helping to beautify our community and protect our environment, they will be raising much needed funds for the Parish! Families (with adult supervision) are welcome to join them at the church at 8am for a brief orientation before heading out for a couple of hours of good work.
Increase family literacy and enhance family time by purchasing a Church Cookbook, available in the school office for just $25 each. Every purchase helps the church's efforts to maintain and care for our beloved church. Thank you for your generosity and support!
