Bond Updates
I am excited to bring you an update on the progress of the Bond Project, which is aimed at enhancing our high school facilities and providing an improved learning environment for our students. Your continued support and involvement in this community project are greatly appreciated.
We are pleased to inform you that several significant projects are now available for use!
1. High School Gymnasium Open and In Use: The High School gymnasium is now open and fully operational. It serves as an essential space for various school activities, including sports events and community gatherings.
2. High School Multipurpose and Weight Rooms Open and In Use: Our newly renovated Multipurpose and Weight Rooms at the High School are now open for use. These facilities are designed to support our students' physical health and wellness needs. This will also assist with practice spaces for some of our athletic programs.
3. Parking Lot Work Completed: The repair to our High School parking lot, including sealcoating and striping, has been successfully completed. Work on drainage and sanitary sewer lines this summer will keep everything flowing as it should. The parking lots have a fresh look and now have the recommended number of handicap parking spots.
4. Upcoming High School Door Replacement: This fall, we have scheduled the replacement of several doors at the High School. This is a crucial step in ensuring the security and functionality of our school building.
5. Punch List Meeting in November: A punch list meeting is scheduled for November, where we will identify any necessary changes and corrections to the completed work. This meeting will help us address any outstanding issues and set timelines for corrections.
6. Additional Projects with Remaining Bond Funds: With the remaining bond funds, we are excited to announce that several projects have been identified to further improve our school facilities. One such project is the update of our football concession stand. This will enhance the experience for our athletic spectators during sporting events as well as provide a much improved experience for our volunteer workers. This work is planned for the upcoming winter months.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our community's educational advancement. Together, we are building a brighter future for our students.

Keep the Huskies Healthy!
Unfortunately as we head into colder months, the number of illnesses rise. If your student is ill, please keep them home. Promptly call the school with any symptoms your child is experiencing (fever, vomiting, sore throat, body ache, cough) and keep them home until they're symptom free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducers. If you take your student to the doctor for their symptoms, please have your student turn in the doctor's note to the office when they return to school. This will ensure the absence does not negatively affect them for truancy purposes.
