Family Newsletter - October 4th

Hello Mackeben Families,

You are invited to our Family Literacy & Math Night, which will take place on Thursday, October 10th from 5:00-7:00pm.

We will have literacy and math games, scavenger hunts and our Literati Book Fair with fun for entire family. Listen to stories and read to Cooper the therapy dog. Enjoy some pizza from Your Sister's Tomato food truck.

Shining Bright - Staff Star of the Week!!!!

Mrs. Kim Hopkins

Mrs. Hopkins has been a constant caring and supportive teacher at Mackeben for quite some time. She taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade with love, commitment and compassion.

Mrs. Hopkins always goes above and beyond and puts 100 percent in everything that she does. She truly loves working with her students and is dedicated to helping them grow and learn.

She has been on many different committees over the years to plan/organize/develop what we need to help support all of our students.

As a colleague Mrs. Hopkins is always willing to share materials that she creates and ideas that she has to enrich our students' learning experiences.

We are going to soak up as much as we can of Mrs. Hopkins this year, as this is her last year at Mackeben. She will be retiring at the end of the 24-25 school year.
