🚗Arrival and Dismissal Procedures🚧
Dear families,
Here at Valley View Elelementary we do our best at ensuring student safety. We appreciate your collaboration with keeping our students, staff, and families safe.
In order to work together towards this goal, we appreciate families followijng the arrival and dismissal procedures below.
ARRIVAL:
- Enter the parking lot thru the gates by the Kinder playground only.
- When dropping off students, follow the lane next to the sidewalk (DROP OFF LANE).
- DROP OFF LANE starts where the green loading zone lane begins by the MPR/cafeteria. Please pull forward to the beginning of the lane as it helps with the flow of traffic.
- PASSING LANE is the lane next to the parking stalls. DO NOT drop off students here. This is unsafe and puts our students at risk of being hit by any vehicle in transit.
- Please stop before the blue crosswalk area in front of our office.
- Please RESPECT STAFF directing traffic as our staff is ensuring student safety.
- Exit the parking lot in an orderly fashion.
- DO NOT park by the exit gate this is a red zone and cars will be towed. We have buses that are wide and parked cars on those red zones impeded the ability to exit thus creating traffic.
- If you need to go into the office, please find an avialable parking stall or park on the street.
- When parking on the street, please do not block our neighbors driveway. These need to be clear in the event of an emergency.

- You receive your badge. Photo is needed to proceed with a badge.
- You are getting your Raptor ID clearance monthly. Ms. Norma will initial your badge when you come in to the office with a valid ID.

- If you have not setup a time with the teacher, you will need to send them a Parent Square message.
- Please keep in mind that all teachers may not need classroom help. We are really focusing on keeping classroom disruptions to a minimum to maintian a healthy learning environment in our classrooms.
