As we begin 2023, let’s aim for good attendance and zero tardies! Remember school starts at 7:55 a.m. Reminder: 2nd Semester test exemptions will be determined by both attendance and grades.

Mid-Year NWEA Assessment

Starting Thursday, January 5th HHS students will begin taking the mid-year NWEA assessments.

January 5th- English and Reading

January 6th- Science

January 9th- Math


These assessments determine your child’s instructional level and measure academic growth throughout the school year.


These assessments are unique, and adapt to your child’s responses to measure your child’s skill level. If your child answers a question correctly, the next question is more challenging. If they answer incorrectly, the next one is easier. These results will provide a more complete picture of what your child knows and is ready to learn—whether it is on, above, or below their grade level.
