"You Belong in the Boat"
Here is what's happening for the week of February 18th
- Frandale Fundraisers are due TODAY! Bring them to the office by the end of the day!
- P/T Conferences will be coming up in a couple weeks (March 5th & 6th). Be on the lookout for an email to sign up for a time slot with your students teachers.
- From our District Nurses: A Guide for Parents- Flu Information
- Please be sure your child is dressed for outdoor weather. This means boots, coats, snow pants, gloves and hats. All students go outside for recess. (Wind chill is monitored) As a reminder, due to our wet playgrounds in the winter, students without boots or snow pants stay on the dry areas (blacktop) of our playgrounds.
- If you have reached out to your students teacher to volunteer in the classroom, participate in field trips, or events, a Volunteer Consent Form must be filled out. A new form and background check must be completed each school year. This can be obtained from the office. A copy of your state-issued driver's license is required to process all volunteer applications. Print the volunteer form here: Volunteer Form
- If your student is absent, please call the office attendance line, (231) 937-4380, press 1. Absences must be reported to the office within 24 hours for it to be excused. A reason for the students absence must be stated or it will be considered unexcused. If you know ahead of time that your student will be absent, a planned absence form can be filled out and submitted to the office. Print a TCE planned absence form here: TCE Planned Absence Form
- View our Attendance Policy/Process: Attendance Matters
End of the Day Changes
Any changes to how your student is going home for the day needs to be received by the office no later than 2:45pm. After this time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get end-of-the-day notifications to your student. As you can imagine, the end of the school day can be very busy in the office. For this reason, we discourage early pickups after 3:00pm. In the case of an emergency, please call the office to prearrange a pickup time- 231-937-4830
SAVE THE DATE! 😍
Winter Weather Gear
The cold weather is here! All students go outside for recess (the "real feel" temperature is monitored). Please be sure to send winter jackets, snow pants, hats and gloves each school day. ⛄
