A Note from the Office
As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to express how thankful I am for our incredible school community. Your support, kindness, and collaboration make Parmenter a truly special place for our students to learn and grow. We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s education.
Please note that there will not be an edition of the Parmenter Press next week due to the short school week. School will be held only on Monday and Tuesday, and we hope you all enjoy a joyful and restful holiday with your loved ones. Monday will be a Parmenter Spirit Day for our Whole School Meeting!
Thank you for all you do to support our students and staff. Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Be well,
Evan Chelman, Principal

A Statement from the Joint PCC
The executive boards of the PCCs from Jefferson, Keller, Kennedy, Oak, and Parmenter have been working together to establish the best structure for the PCCs at the North and South complexes for the upcoming year.
We are excited to announce that we have reached a unanimous decision: there will be one PCC per complex, with executive board representation for both the K-2 and 3-5 schools. While the specific structure of the executive board is still being finalized, we are confident that consolidating to one PCC per complex will allow us to manage a unified budget to support both the K-2 and 3-5 schools. As decisions are made in the coming months regarding the executive board structure, we will be sure to keep our families informed. Discussions are also ongoing regarding the finances for the two new PCCs. We have agreed that funds from each current PCC will be allocated based on the percentage of students transferring to each complex, ensuring that resources follow the students. We want to emphasize the importance of fundraising this school year, as it will help ensure the success of the new PCCs in the years ahead. We are deeply grateful to our families for their continued support as we navigate the final year in our current schools and prepare for this exciting new chapter next year! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your school's PCC executive board. We are all dedicated to supporting our families in any way we can.
