Arm Wrestling Champion
Year 9 student Gustave recently won his first ever arm wrestling competition in Manchester. Gustave has been in training for the last three years, well done Gus!
Goodbye Mr Cooper
Mr Cooper, who recently left Corby Technical School made this amazing cake to say good bye to his colleagues.
Year 13 Cinema Trip
Year 13 students watched Margaret Atwood Live as part of their course. Atwood spoke about the inspiration for her new novel The Testaments, as well as her most well-known classic, The Handmaid’s Tale

- Mrs Ferns has nominated her Year 10 Mathematicians who have made a great start to the year with their positive and mature attitudes.
- Mr Cox has nominated his Year 9 and Year 11 Scientists for a great attitude and start to the year and our new Year 7's for settling in well over the last week
- Mr Lee has nominated Year 11 Mathematicians Grace, Halle, Leah, Andrei, Jalal, Lewis, Nosa and Luke for their proactive attitude during the first Maths drop in session this week.
- Mr Harley has nominated Rachel in Year 9 for an excellent start to the year in Engineering.
- Miss Fenner has nominated Year 8 students Silviu and Isla for their excellent work and contributions in English this week, Year 10 students Sam and Ana for their analysis of Romeo and Juliet in this week's lessons and finally, Year 13 student Stefania for her enthusiasm and hard work in English Language and Literature.
- Mrs Vaghadia has nominated Year 10 student Klaudia for working super hard and always showing commitment to the Sociology lessons.
- Mrs Rice has nominated the following Year 11 English students, Dominika for an excellent response to unseen poetry and Cory for excellent language response.
- Mr Rogers has nominated Year 10 students Liam and Ashley for their fantastic commitment to their PE and Health and Fitness work.
Celebration of Student Work - Art
Reminders:
- Open Evenings for Year 6 students will be held on Tuesday 17th and Tuesday 24th September with session form 5.15pm to 6.15pm and 7.00pm to 8.00pm. Please arrive promptly at 5.15pm or 7.00pm for the presentations.
- There will be an initial meeting for this years Drama production of Legally Blonde on Thursday 19th September at 4.05pm in the Drama Studio.
