Students, Parents, and Caregivers,
WOW! What a year! From starting our year for the first time as ONE school -- Creston Intermediate & Middle School -- to concluding it in a Learn at Home environment... We have navigated so much together! I am grateful for the exceptional work and commitment of our Creston staff, who work so hard every day for our students. Further, our students have adapted well and exceeded our expectations with their recent participation in virtual learning. Lastly, to our students' parents and caregivers: we are so appreciative of your support of your scholars - we know you have had to adjust to this "new normal" which has not been easy. Thank you all for your efforts!
Next week, we will facilitate a drive-thru process to allow students to pick up their personal items from Creston. Please plan to enter the Creston Campus at the south entrance off German Church, and follow signs/directions around the building to line up along the front curb.
- On Wednesday, June 3, from 12-6 pm, students with last names beginning with A--M can retrieve items.
- On Thursday, June 4, from 12-6 pm, students with last names beginning with N--Z can retrieve items.
- On Friday, June 5, from 9 am - 12 pm, any students unable to come earlier in the week can retrieve items.
In addition to allowing students to pick-up these items, we will also distribute yearbooks, spring pictures, medications, instruments, and any other personal items we can identify. If your student has library books, textbooks, school-owned instruments, or any other school-owned items, those can be returned at the above times as well. Student devices (chromebooks) only need to be returned if your family is moving out of Warren Township before next school year.
We will be mailing student report cards during the week of June 1st - these will be sent to the primary address we have on file for your student.
Please keep scrolling to access student award winners for this year!
I thank you for partnering with us this school year and allowing us the opportunity to support your child(ren) on their journey through school. We will continue to keep you informed of any details that will impact the start of our school year once we know them. The entire Creston staff wishes our students and their families a safe, restful, and happy summer!
Please take care of yourselves, and we hope to see you soon!

Important Information from the Indianapolis Children's Museum
As we are working to navigate our current environment, I would like to share with you some community resources that the Community Initiatives team at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has compiled for families that includes information about the Access Pass program, and resources for basic needs, finance, immediate employment opportunities, health and wellness, and much more. Please note that we update our community resource list regularly with new information as it becomes available.
Here is a little more information about the Access Pass program. This is a state-wide program that allows Indiana families who participate in SNAP, TANF, and/or Hoosier Healthwise to visit the museum and 11 other Indiana cultural attractions listed below for $2 for general admission per person per visit. Families can enroll in the Access Pass program online by submitting a copy of their IN state-issued photo ID and their recertification letter showing that they are currently participating in one of the qualified programs previously mentioned.
Although our physical buildings are closed, the museum and the participating locations are virtually open with a variety of interactive and online programming that students and families can participate in as their schedule permits. For more information about Access Pass program, attached is a copy of the brochure and a list of links to all of our digital channels where they can access activities and content.
