HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday Season!! I hope you all got a chance to get some rest and rejuvenation as we start the second semester. Here is what to look forward to this January and beyond!

2025 Vocal Impact Invitational | 1/17/25

We hope to see everyone come out on Friday, January 17th, 2025 @ 7:00 PM for the 7th Annual HHS Vocal Impact Invitational

This year we will host the HMS Show Choir, Music Unlimited from Whitehall Yearling, and Synergy & Momentum from Nordonia.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door!! Cash or card/Apple Pay are accepted.

All sales go to benefit the HHS Choral Department to help us with expenses ranging from equipment needs, composer in residence fees, as well as helping us to fundraise for trips to both domestic and foreign destinations.

Suburban League Honor Choir

Congrats to Emmy Burling, Sophie Daniel, Izzie Shaffer, & Carolyn Wang who will represent the HHS Choir Department at the 3rd Annual Suburban League Honor Choir at Stow HS. The Concert is at 7:00 PM on 1/17 and tickets are $10 at the door.

Choir Movie Night | 1/24

Come join us in the HHS Auditorium on Friday January 24th at 6:15 PM for Choir Movie Night. We will be watching Wicked!!! Students should provide their own snacks. Feel free to bring a friend!

OMEA Solo & Ensemble 1/25

Those students who are participating in OMEA Solo & Ensemble should've received their time from Mr. Moore. As we get closer to the date, you will also receive more information regarding parking, homeroom, and general FAQs. Please make sure you have the original score with the measures numbered. This is to give to the adjudicator and if you don't have it, can result in a disqualification. A reminder that your performance must be performed from memory

Looking Ahead | OMEA Large Group Contest

In March, Chamber Choir & Bella Voce will both head to OMEA Large Group District Contest. Chamber Choir will go to Mentor HS either Friday March 7th or Saturday March 8th and Bella Voce will go to Nordonia HS either Friday March 14th or Saturday March 15th. Chamber will request to go on Friday 3/7 and Bella Voce on Saturday 3/15, however preferred dates are not guaranteed so students should block out both dates just to be safe.
