STUDIO WILDCARD STEPS INTO BT
Mr. Doug Kennedy is one of our Senior Experience internship mentors as well as one of the original creators of the video game Guitar Hero. He has quite an extensive career in the gaming industry and currently runs his own company Studio Wildcard (Gainesville, FL) in which the featured video game Ark and Ark II have millions of players. He is close to finishing an animated film based on the Ark game which stars Vin Diesel. Mr. Kennedy visited with us on Tuesday March 8th and 9th and presented to interested students the various careers in the video game industry and ways in which one should go about pursuing a career in video game development. He also handed out free copies of his video game and autographed them for the students. We are looking forward to a continued collaboration with Mr. Kennedy and Studio Wildcard. - Andrea Buccino

FASHION 9TH GRADE PILLOW CREATIONS
BUILDING A LAW & JUSTICE SNOW PERSON?
During the last snowstorm, Ms. Golle assigned an optional homework assignment: Build an L&J-themed snowperson. While the snow totals varied around the county, the snow itself proved to be incredibly light and not especially conducive to snowperson-making. Gabi Swain, an 11th grader, persevered by creating a "law student, who is definitely NOT stressed out over a FIRAC". - Erica Golle
