Danny Jones Middle School

The 7th grade ELAR teachers are Mrs. Allender and Mrs. Jannicke. Mrs. Law and Mrs. Brunicardi teach the Advanced 7th grade ELAR courses. Mr. Smith teaches one class of each. Collectively, this stellar group of teachers has been teaching for 53 years!

The instructional focus for this team is integrated reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary through relevant district curriculum and independent reading. Our goal is for all students to read and write every day! Collectively, their purpose for teaching is to produce critical readers, writers, and thinkers who will become productive members of society and are prepared to successfully pursue any path in life.

The 7th grade ELAR teachers invite parents to support these initiatives at home by facilitating your child’s learning through discussions about what they are reading, writing, and learning, and view the materials they bring home. They also encourage parents to check Canvas, Skyward, and email regularly!
