Lincoln Families,

As we approach Memorial Day, I want to take a moment to recognize and honor the significance of this important day. Memorial Day is a time for us to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in our nation’s armed forces.

Their courage and dedication to protecting our freedoms and way of life are deeply appreciated, and their legacy continues to inspire us all. This weekend, as we enjoy time with family and friends, let us also take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by these heroes and express our gratitude for their service.

Favorite Educator: My favorite educator was Mrs. Alexander from Will Rodgers Elementary School. She was a very genuine person who really cared for me. She was a mother like figure and I appreciated it. She also has taught my nephew.

Fun Fact: I have an identical twin brother.

I want take a moment to congratulate all the students and staff who participated in this past week's Pops Concert. Your hard work, talent, and dedication truly shined through, making it a memorable and joyous event for everyone in attendance.

Thank you to our amazing music teachers and supportive families for making this concert a great success. Let's continue to celebrate the wonderful achievements of our Lincoln Middle School community!

I want to thank our incredible counselors for coordinating the Mental Health Awareness Fair on Friday. Your dedication and effort in organizing this important event have provided invaluable resources and support to our students and community.

We appreciate all you do to promote mental health and well-being at Lincoln Middle School.

I am delighted to recognize and congratulate our English Language Learners who have been reclassified this year! Your hard work, perseverance, and dedication have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of your achievement.

Girls 7/8 Soccer

Let's give a big round of applause to our Girls 7/8 Soccer Team for making it to the finals and finishing second this season! Your hard work, teamwork, and dedication have been truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to more successes in the future.

6th Grade Volleyball

I am also thrilled to announce that our 6th grade volleyball team has remained undefeated! Your teamwork, skill, and determination have been exceptional and a joy to watch. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments. Keep up the great work!

6th Grade Soccer

I am also excited to recognize the fantastic season our 6th grade boys and girls soccer teams have had! Your hard work, teamwork, and passion for the game have led to an incredibly successful season. We are so proud of each of you and look forward to more great achievements in the future.

7/8 Grade Volleyball

I am thrilled to announce that our 7/8 volleyball team has advanced to the playoffs! Your dedication, teamwork, and hard work have truly paid off. Congratulations, and best of luck in the playoffs!

I am thrilled to recognize the success of this past week's Rites of Passage ceremony, celebrating our African American students who are promoting to high school. This important milestone honors their achievements and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Congratulations to all the students and thank you to everyone who helped make this event memorable!

All books & fines are due by Wednesday May 29th.

Chromebooks & chargers must be returned on Monday June 3rd.

Please note students with outstanding obligations on June 3rd at 3:00pm will not be able to participate in the beach day and yearbook signing.

Students who are returning to Lincoln should keep their technology over the summer. If your child is not returning to Lincoln, they must return it to the library on their last day of school.
