Our last Smencil fundraiser was a HUGE success!! We will hold another SMENCIL & SMEN fundraiser NEXT WEEK, Dec. 9-13. Holiday Smencils will sell for $1.00 each and Glitter Gel Smens will sell for $2.00 each. These will be sold BEFORE school each day in the gym until they sell out.

Adventure Club is offering child care this Christmas Break at Watson Elementary School! They will have care available on Thurs., Dec. 26 - Fri., Dec. 27 and Thurs. Jan. 2 - Mon. Jan. 6 from 6:30am - 6:00pm. If you have any questions, please contact The Adventure Club Office at (219) 865-6283.

We are excited to announce that Michele Garza, the author of Ruth's Ducks, will be visiting Bibich. In her heartwarming story, Michele shares her childhood experience of receiving a pair of wax ducks instead of her desired toy, and how her perspective changed as she faced financial challenges within her own family. Students will have the wonderful opportunity to purchase their own author-signed copies of Ruth's Ducks, along with a special ornament. Orders are due by Friday, December 13th. As the cold weather has arrived, please send your child with a heavy coat, hat, and mittens. Weather permitting they will be going out for recess as much as possible. If the temperature is 20 degrees or colder (with the wind chill), we will be having indoor recess. Make sure all items have your child's name on them!!

Lake Central School Corporation will permit access to the Field House for walking on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm NOW through March 19, 2025. There will be no walking during Winter Break (Dec. 23 through Jan. 6, 2025) or ANY other school holiday (Nov. 27, Jan. 20, and Feb. 17). Visitors should park in the front of the school near the pool and enter through Door C. Walkers will be asked to sign an injury waiver upon entering for the first time.
