March Reading Madness!
Our school community is aiming to read 100,000 minutes together from March 1st to the 14th. If we reach our goal students will score a game day in their next library class following spring break! Log your family minutes each night here! Parents and siblings' minutes count too!

Book Fair
The Book Fair is back! If you would like to volunteer to help with the book fair please sign up here.
Students will create a wish list the week before the fair opens and then can shop with their families before or after school during the following times.
Monday 3/9: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Tuesday 3/10: 7:30am - 8:30am and 3:30pm - 7:00pm
Wednesday 3/11 3:30pm - 7:00pm
Thursday 3/12 7:30am - 8:30am and 3:30pm - 4:45pm
Please Note: The Book Fair is not open to parents or student during regular school hours.
Payment by cash, card, ewallet, or checks.
Breakfast and Books
On Tuesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 14 CCE students are invited to come to school early and bring along a parent, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparent, or someone else important to them to enjoy a donut in the school cafeteria and then check out the book fair in the library!
CogAT Parent Information Session
Are you interested in learning more about your child's Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) scores? Do you have questions about how to read the scores or how they are used in our school and district?
If so, please join our Gifted and Talented Facilitator, Amber McFarland, for our CogAT Parent Information Session. This session is open to all families whose students have taken CogAT this year.
When?: Wednesday, March 13th from 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Where?: Coyote Creek Art Room
What to bring?: Your child's CogAT score report (optional)

Keep up the great work, Heart Heros! The Denver Nuggets thank you for supporting the American Heart Association! TRHS Grizzly Gives
Grizzly Gives is an opportunity to support a family in need. TRHS works with Caruso Family Charities to determine a family they would like to support and how they are going to support them. Another way to help out is to attend one of TRHS Restaurant Nights (See below).

CMAS Update
Our Colorado state mandatory testing, CMAS, is coming up soon. This testing is for 3rd through 6th graders in English Language Arts and Math, and 5th grade is also tested in Science. The testing window is April 1st through April 26th, with our main testing times being:
- English Language Arts: April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
- Math: April 10th, 11th, and 12th
- 5th grade Science: April 15th, 16th, and 17th

The POP Tab Recycling Program
The Pop Tab Recycling Program is a fundraising project to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. The Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver and Aurora serve as a home away from home for many families whose children are seriously ill and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
How the program works
Aluminum beverage can tabs are collected and sold for cash. Also tabs from soup, tuna, and fruit etc. cans can be collected.
Please collect your tabs and bring them to the main office. Thank you so very much for helping!

Rent the rock and/or the school’s electronic marquee to recognize a student’s birthday, show school spirit, thank or recognize teachers or staff members, congratulatory events, etc. (Reservations for the marquee need to be made at least one week in advance.
