Information on our Homework Help Tables program, which runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15, went out last week. It began this week, but we still have space! If you believe that your child would benefit from a little extra help outside of normal classroom hours, feel free to sign your child up HERE!
Attention FFA families. The THS and TMS FFA Chapters will be having a parent meeting on Monday, September 16th at 5:30pm in Mrs. Nichols' classroom at the high school. If your 8th grader is in FFA (or you would like them to be!) or your 7th grader is currently in the Ag Leadership course, please mark your calendar to attend this evening meeting.

SEL will return in the coming week during homeroom. Please see below what those SEL lessons will be! Students will continue to engage with lessons that help them build essential social-emotional skills focused on resilience, problem-solving, and personal growth.
6th Grade: Students will learn how to try new strategies when they encounter challenges. They will discuss how to seek help, change their approach, or try different learning methods to overcome obstacles in their academic journey
7th Grade: The focus will be on identifying roadblocks. Students will learn to distinguish between internal and external obstacles that prevent them from reaching their goals, such as unhelpful thoughts or lack of support, and explore strategies for overcoming these barriers.
8th Grade: Students will focus on harnessing their strengths. They will reflect on how to use their personal strengths to get better at something new, discussing strategies with partners to apply these strengths effectively.
