Time Management for High School Students: Balancing Academics, Extracurriculars, and Personal Time
Effective time management is crucial for high school students balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal time. Encourage your teen to prioritize tasks by creating a daily or weekly schedule. Breaking larger assignments into smaller, manageable steps helps prevent procrastination. Teach them to set realistic goals and use tools like planners or apps to track deadlines. Encourage them to make time for self-care, ensuring they get enough rest and relaxation. By fostering these habits, you can help your teen stay organized, reduce stress, and succeed both in and out of the classroom.
TOPIC OF THE MONTH: Empathy
Empathy is a key part of Social Emotional Learning, helping students understand and share the feelings of others. By developing empathy, students learn to build stronger, more meaningful relationships and foster a positive, inclusive school environment. Encouraging empathy at home can help your child become more compassionate, supportive, and effective in resolving conflicts.

This past week, counselors visited students during 4th block to deliver general counseling sessions. They presented this month’s topic and provided valuable academic guidance. These sessions are designed to support students' personal development and academic success, offering resources and strategies to help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
