Happy Retirement!
Dear Dr. Schmolze,
Thank you for leading our district with love and for having a strong commitment to education. Your dedication to putting children first while building strong leadership and empowering educators has left a lasting impact on our schools and community.
On a personal note, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Trojan family and to serve as principal. Being entrusted with this role has been an incredible honor, and I have found immense joy in leading and supporting our students and staff. Your belief in me, along with your guidance and support, has meant so much, and I will always appreciate the confidence you placed in me.
Wishing you God’s speed and abundant blessings as you embark on this next chapter. May your retirement be filled with joy, fulfillment, and new adventures.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Northwestern Trojans
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
The Power of Language
Dear Trojan Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to work together to support our children’s education, I want to emphasize the power of language and unity in shaping their success. The story of the Tower of Babel reminds us how vital a shared language is in accomplishing great things. When the people spoke the same language, they worked together seamlessly. However, when their language was confused, their unity crumbled, and they could no longer progress.
Similarly, when we—parents, educators, and students—speak the same "language" of education, we create an unshakable foundation for success. But if the message of learning is reinforced only at school and not at home, our children may struggle to see its true value. Education thrives when we are united in our expectations, encouragement, and involvement.
At school, the specific language we are speaking is "Be excellent in everything." Excellence starts with the little things—wearing IDs while on campus, putting away personal electronic devices during instructional time, and taking responsibility for daily tasks. These small habits shape discipline, responsibility, and respect, which are critical for success in school and beyond.
I encourage you to continue this conversation at home. Talk with your child about what excellence looks like and help them take ownership in meeting expectations. When we work together, we ensure that every child builds a strong future with limitless possibilities.
Thank you for being our partners in this mission. Let’s keep speaking the same language of learning, growth, and success!
In partnership,
Michael Abraham
Principal
