She is an AP Scholar with Distinction and has earned a State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. Kylie is part of CSF and held the position of Special Activities Commissioner in 2023-24 and is currently serving as Co-President.
Kylie actively participates in clubs on campus. She has been the president of the Vietnamese Club since 2021, is the Treasurer for the Red Cross Club, and is a member of HOSA and Interact. As part of her activities through CSF, she has coordinated several college campus field trips and community service events for 150+ members. She led one of the largest clubs on campus and encouraged academic excellence.
As part of the Vietnamese club, she increased membership by 8 times and fostered an inclusive and pleasant atmosphere for people to learn about Vietnamese culture.
Outside of school, Kylie participated in a highly coveted internship at Kaiser Permanente. She shadowed nephrologists in dialysis centers and conducted patient communications for kidney transplant prospects. She also participated in Kaiser's Work Preparation Program where she researched diabetes at Baldwin Park Hospital and presented her research to the community. For this work, she received the Kaiser Permanente Summer Youth Employment Certification.
After high school, Kylie plans to attend a 4-year university as a Biology major, followed by dental school. Her end goal is to become an orthodontist and open her own practice.
Ryan Leak is an Honors and AP student with a 4.06 GPA. He has been a member of CSF and participated in COVID Test Distribution, Seal Beach Cleanup, AIDs walk, and the Buckboard Day Parade. He has also been a member of the Culinary Ambassadors and has served food for the Rowland Art Showcase, for higher District Board Members, and taught basic culinary skills at the JAR Showcase.

After high school, Ryan plans to complete a Bachelor's Degree at Cal State Fullerton majoring in Business Finance and hopefully get an MBA at a graduate school. He hopes to either be a real estate lender or have his own business in the future.

Senior Student Activities
Senior Day Event & Graduation Practice
Seniors will have an all-day event on Monday, June 3rd. They need to report to the gym by 8:00 a.m. on Monday. No late students will be allowed to enter the gym. Students must check in twice to receive 2 free graduation tickets.
Graduation practice will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, and Wednesday, June 5th. The doors will close at 7:30 a.m., and no students will be allowed to enter after that. Seniors must attend both days of Graduation Practice to participate in the ceremony.
Elementary Walks
This school year RHS will not have access to district buses and will not be able to pay for charter buses to carry out Elementary Grad Walks as we have done in the past. This means that Elementary Grad Walks will be on your own, but we will help coordinate your visit back to your elementary school. Each elementary school will have an “open house” type of event with the details and signup procedure below. On Tuesday, June 4th graduates will receive their cap and gown at the completion of graduation practice. When you get home hang your gown to help get out the wrinkles due to the packaging. You will need to coordinate your own transportation from your home to the elementary school site since there will not be any offered by RHS.
Please use the QR code to access a form to RSVP and notify your elementary school of your intent to participate. Many of the schools will have different ways to welcome graduates and they want to make sure to accommodate the number that sign up to visit their school.
