Springton Manor Elementary News

We can't wait for the SM Fun Run this Friday, October 4th! Students and staff are encouraged to wear your SM spirit wear for our last day of our Spirit Week!

If you haven't donated yet, please consider sending a donation. See information below on how to contribute. This fundraiser is our main fundraiser for this school year and will help us purchase some fun additions to our SM playground. Your participation in the Fun Run donations is so appreciated! If every family donated, even a little, it will help us achieve our fundraising goals.

We hit our goal of &10,000 and had a Dance Party on Monday, 9/30. We later hit our goal of $15,000 which means we will be able to purchase a new Gaga Pit for our recess yard (in addition to the one we have). We are so grateful to our SM community for all the donations!

There is no school tomorrow, Thursday 10/3/24 in honor of Rosh Hashanah. To those who celebrate, may your Rosh Hashanah be filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.

If you are looking for dinner out tomorrow, consider going to Liberty Union for lunch or dinner and mentioning SM as part of the Dine and Donate program - 15% back to SM!

We spent the day showing our custodian's our love and appreciation. We appreciate you, Mr. Bowers, Mr. Doug, and Mr. Charles!

On Tuesday, October 8th, we are encouraging students and staff to wear red for our "Red Ticket Assembly"!

We have several HSA events coming up that we are really looking forward to! We are always looking for volunteers. Please sign up if you can!

SM Students and Staff will be participating in an assembly to show our appreciation for our local veteran's. Students will have an opportunity to enjoy a visit from a veteran too! SM HSA will be providing a lovely lunch for all of our Veteran's who can come out and make this day special. If you have a family member that has served in our armed forces and would be interested in participating in this event, please complete the form below.

We are so proud of our Mindful Mustangs! We have so many kids earning those red tickets already this school year! We want to celebrate them! We are asking parents, to snap a photo of your child holding the red ticket that they earned with another family member (parent, grandparent, sibling - anyone). so that we can post them on our internal TV screens.
