I am coming to you today to ask for your help.
Four years ago we had 115 bus drivers, today we have approximately 65.
As you know, thousands of our students rely on school transportation to get them to school and back home each day. We are having to cancel multiple routes on a daily basis because we just don’t have enough drivers.
I am asking you to consider becoming a bus driver. If you can only drive in the morning or the afternoon, that’s fine. If you can only drive a couple days a week, that’s fine too!
Our district will provide you with all the training you need. We will do that on the weekend. You would be paid for your training time and we will reimburse for the cost of your CDL license.
Our kids need you! Will you help us with this?
