Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
One of the most important skills we can cultivate in our students is the desire to be a lifelong learner. It’s important that when the school day ends, you remain curious and willing to learn.
We have been putting that message into action this year through our community engagement efforts. I want to continue to learn from our community about how we can improve Loveland City Schools. You have two opportunities this month to attend a Town Hall Meeting:
Wednesday, February 7, at 6 pm, at Loveland Elementary School
Wednesday, February 28, at 6 pm, at Loveland Middle School
During our Town Hall Meetings, you’ll learn more about the work we do here in Loveland City Schools, and more importantly, you’ll provide us with important feedback. Consider taking about an hour of your time to attend one of these interactive community discussions. Or you can take a few minutes to follow this link to our community feedback survey. You can RSVP for our Town Halls and learn more about our community engagement work at www.lovelandschools.org/engage.
Feel free to send me an email at broadwmi@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Real-World Learning for LHS Healthcare Club
Students in the Loveland High School Healthcare Club had an opportunity to visit the Beacon Orthopaedics Bio Skills Lab. Healthcare professionals provided hands-on learning, including putting in sutures. Visits like this are part of our dedication to preparing students for careers by providing real-world experiences. Thank you to Beacon Orthopaedics for this great opportunity!
Support Students Supporting the Leukemia Lymphoma Society
Loveland High School students are working again to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during their Student of the Year campaign. Lola Jones, Kathryn Zervos, and Leah Schwab are Team CoUREage 5.0. Visit these community partners on the following dates to support their effort to raise money and raise awareness of blood cancers:
Hops and Berry (2/8)
Bishops Quarter (2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/3, 3/6)

3’s for LIFE Continues!
Loveland High School students collected hundreds of canned goods for "3's for LIFE" to support the LIFE Food Pantry. The classes that collected the most were treated to donuts! Help our students collect 3,000 canned goods for local families in need with a donation to Tigers Inc. via Venmo to @Tigers-Inc. Jarvis Global Investments will also donate 12 canned goods for every 3-point shot scored by a Loveland boys or girls basketball player. Thank you to everyone who is supporting this student-led effort to help the Loveland community!

Reminders
Kindergarten Registration Now Open
Registration for Kindergarten at Loveland Early Childhood Center is now open. If your child will be five years old on or before August 1, 2024, they can be part of the Loveland Tiger Class of 2037! Learn more on our website at www.lovelandschools.org/kinder.
2024-25 and 2025-26 School Calendars Available
The school calendars are now available for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. You can view and print an easy-to-read version of the calendar and important dates by following this link to our website.
Transportation Challenges Continue
There is an urgent need for bus drivers for our district. Without additional drivers, we may be forced to skip some routes on some days because we are critically short-staffed. We are working to avoid this, but please create a backup plan for how your family would handle transportation in the event we are forced to limit bus service due to the driver shortage.
Loveland bus drivers receive paid training, health insurance, and retirement benefits. Follow this link to apply online, or call our Transportation Department at 513-683-3103. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors about this great opportunity to help our Loveland City School District community.
