Supporting Implementation of Differentiated Instruction for teaching the California Common Core Reading Foundational Skills for Grades 3-5
- RESULTS for UPPER GRADES covers current and confirmed research related to the science of reading and effective literacy instruction for multilingual learners, developing readers, and students in need of reading intervention supports
- RESULTS for UPPER GRADES offers an in-depth understanding of the content of three major components of reading foundational skills for upper elementary students: Word Recognition, Spelling, and Fluency
- RESULTS for UPPER GRADES offers an in-depth understanding of the linguistic elements necessary for effective Spelling skills: Phonology, Orthography, and Morphology.
- RESULTS for UPPER GRADES includes assessments for determining students' proficiency in these standards, which enables teachers to group according to instructional needs. These assessments include the BPST-IV decoding assessment and the BPST-S spelling inventory.
- RESULTS for UPPER GRADES provides structured literacy routines to differentiate foundational skills instruction by planning to teach Tier 1 and Tier 2 MTSS lessons using state-adopted Language Arts programs and grade-level instructional text.
CRLP Learning Programs meet criteria for professional learning for ESSER funds,
as well as ESEA’s High-Quality Professional Development for Title I, III, V and VII,
Part A; and for Title II, Part A and B.
