You all remember hacking group that stole Christmas last year for gamers all over the world before the Grinch even had a chance to. Lizard Squad. Remember when they took down PSN and Xbox live for a whole week during Christmas, right? Well this year you’re thinking, “Can I finally play the new Black Ops and other games I got this Christmas?” Probably not. A new group calling themselves “The Phantom Squad” have confirmed over twitter that they will be taking down PSN and Xbox live in DOS attacks. Here is the tweet from (@PhantomSquad).

“We are going to shut down Xbox live and PSN this year on Christmas. And we are going to keep them down for one-week straight #DramaAlert

Ok, think about this.... Xbox Live and PSN have millions upon millions of dollars... but do they use that money for better security?

No. PSN and Xbox do not use that money to improve their security... So until they open their eyes, Xbox Live and PSN will remain vulnerable.”

Due to the hacks, PSN had contacted its users through the PlayStation, thanking them all for their patience and that for their troubles they will give them a couple free days of PlayStation Plus.

Now, everyone knows about one of the most remarkable things to ever happen in gaming history, the first PlayStation. Due to Sony’s business losses before the release, Sony was struggling. None of that mattered once December of 1994 rolled around, and Sony released just the first generation of the most-bought game console of that time. The first Playstation took precisely four years to create, and on the first weekend of it coming out, 100,000 PlayStations were sold. In the first 6 months, One million PlayStations were sold. Popular games include, Final Fantasy VII and VIII, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, and a game every gamer loves, Crash Bandicoot.

If you just got a new PlayStation, you must be feeling excited and ready to play it, but if you don’t know how to set it up, how are you supposed to play it? Here is a step by step process of how to set up your PlayStation 4.

1. Connect the HDMI cable that was included with the PlayStation to your TV and the PS4 HDMI outport.

2. Then, you must connect you PlayStation to your cable or satellite box. Unplug the HDMI cable plugged in from the TV to the box. Unplug it from the TV’S side and plug it into your PlayStation’s “HDMI IN” port.

The latest PlayStation console was released in November of 2013. The PlayStation 4 has a custom chip, 8 x86-64 cores, resulting in amazing, cutting edge graphics and 8GB of memory. Web. 21 Jan. 2016, the PlayStation store hits home with “new games, rich graphics, and deeply immersive experiences.” PlayStation 4 is currently outselling the Xbox 1, 22.3 million to 12.8 million. Next, is the gamepad. The Xbox one controller is slightly updated from the Xbox 360, having a more rounded feel and triggers with force feedback. The DualShock 4 controller, fixes the worst parts of DualShock 3 controllers and keeps the best. The analog sticks feel better, the triggers are more responsive, and the controller just feels better in hand. It also features a built in speaker and a touchpad in the middle.
